These bamboo open spaces are great, I’ve seen them in Ubud and Amed. How do you find realtors in Bali, are there actual real estate offices or just ask around locally? I would like to live not too far from the tourist areas but in a quiet street amongst locals/foreigners.

There big name realtors such as Kibarer but my wife finds realtors on Facebook. They tend to be independent guys who get a commission of the property sells. They don't have realtor licenses but you do the deal with a notary ultimately.

Thanks for your feedback about where you'd like to live

Hi 👋 Neill

Have you been to sun Sang Eco Village in Tabanan. Bamboo architecture and permaculture. $50 K bungalows. Some good ideas 👇

It’s great how they build the models to work out how to build the bamboo bungalows

Thanks. I like the idea of a bamboo yoga space or outdoor kitchen but not as the architectural model for the entire community

Agree - a central bamboo community centre , yoga studio, communal kitchen & dinning space could be good. Though living in a bamboo bungalow is a bit too much like camping ⛺️ in the jungle
